Wavelink Expands DECT Cordless Sales to New Zealand

Wavelink Communications have expanded sales of their Kirk Dect cordless PABX solution into New Zealand with the appointment of Agile as their New Zealand Distributor.

The Kirk dect-Z 1500, which will attach to virtually any PABX, is the product of Danish telecommunications giant Kirk Telecom A/S. Supporting up to 128 handsets makes the Kirk system ideal for large site installations such as office buildings, hospitals, warehouses, factories, car yards, construction sites, hotels, shopping centres etc. Target users may be supervisors, technical support personnel, security staff, building maintenance supervisors, managers or hospital specialists.

The Kirk DECT-Z 1500 system delivers not only voice telephony, but also integrates with text messaging applications like paging, PC/LAN messaging, alarm monitoring and e-mail forwarding. E-mail forwarding is a significant new development, as it allows users to view their incoming e-mails on their Kirk cordless handset, for immediate action when away from the desk.
