Arkon Networks Showcases Its New Generation of Wireless Consumer Technology Products at CES 2002

Arkon Networks Inc, a complete technology product design house and the leader in DECT wireless technology solutions, will be showcasing its new wireless product innovations at the Consumer Electronics Show 2002 on January 8-11, 2002. Under the "DECT: Another Face of Wireless" theme, Arkon's booth (#15943 South Hall LVCC) will showcase products focusing on how DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology can be used in exciting new ways to connect mobile devices and consumers at home or in the office.

After a successful show last year, where Arkon's Parafone 900MHz cordless telephone for the Handspring(tm) Visor(tm) won top honors for the best telephone product at CES, Arkon is back again this year with even more innovative wireless creations. The Parafone is now sold through major North American retailers. www.myparafone.com.

DECT is a local area digital wireless technology used in over 115 countries worldwide and acquires over 60% of the European cordless phone market (www.dectweb.org). At its booth, Arkon will be unveiling its 2002 line of innovative DECT cordless phones for Europe as well as North America. In addition, several DECT concept products will be displayed. These concept products, resulting from new product development strategies implemented by Arkon's in-house creative design team, include the revolutionary Collaborator 100 DECT wireless conference phone, and the FS DECT flip phone.

Working units of the G24 Internet Communicator System (Winner of Best of Innovations Telephony 2002) and the Parafone (Winner of Best of Show Telephony 2001) will be available at a" hands-on" station in the booth. With the G24 system, attendees at the show will be able to surf the web wirelessly with a dedicated 32kbps connection on all Handspring Visor models. Attendees will also be able to intercom Visor to Visor and realize all the telephony benefits of the Parafone on a digital 2.4 GHz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum frequency.
